Drifters were released in a transect between Kendall Head and Cummings Cove. All drifters moved north at the beginning of the trial before getting caught in the ebb. Only one drifter remained in the main ebb flow out Head Harbor Passage. Drifter 3 got caught in the current which flows south along the eastern Eastport shore. The other three drifters entered the eddies between Harris Point and Johnson Cove.
