What a great day! Though it threatened to rain we had sunshine during the event. Over 35 people helped us celebrate! Many thanks to Tess Ftorek, Kevin Raye, Chris Gardner, Paul Critchley, and Scott Emery for their kind and supportive comments. A good time was had by all!

July 14, 2011: Invitation to Groundbreaking Celebration

Actually, the ground is already broken, but the celebration has yet to begin. Come help us celebrate the first phase of construction of the Cobscook Marketplace building on Monday, July 18th from noon 'til 12:30 at the Head of the Breakwater, 110 Water Street, Eastport.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Join us if you can.

The Resource Center thanks everyone who has helped develop this facility where Cobscook fishermen and farmers can add value to and market their products.

May 2011: Announcement of General Contractor

The Resource Center is pleased to announce the selection of Matt Gurney and Coastal Maine General Contracting from East Machias, Maine, as General Contractor for the first phase of construction of our new facility at 110 Water Street in Eastport.

Matt will be constructing an addition to the existing building on the site which will house a buying station for scallops and farm produce as well as a shared-use commercial kitchen.
